The word 'robot' was coined in 1920, but the roots of the idea stretch back to antiquity. With such a long legacy in science fiction, how can we write robots today that are vivid and original? How can we represent their point of view?
About the workshop
We'll read extracts from authors past and present, and do some informal writing exercises to create our own robot characters.
There will be space to share your work, but this is completely optional, you are welcome to simply listen.
The workshop will be delivered over Zoom and will be recorded, everyone who signs up will receive a copy of the recording and a list of extracts.
