About this event

Step into the captivating world of The Great British Nanny, at our eclusive

photo exhibition. This is for one day only on the 13th July Open from 10am-4pm.

Come and spend an hour or two looking through a curated collection of intersting photograph, witness the evolution of the quintessentially British Nanny.

Come and be inspired and educated by dedicated Nannies that have shaped the nanny role and learn how hard they worked in the past. Featuring a whole host of nannies from the past right up to the present day, as well educators that have shaped the Early Years education.

Not to be missed!

This is a Fundraiser event, rasing funds for the National Nanny Association.

Frequently asked questions

What will be displayed at the Exhibition?

A collection of interesting photos of Nannies through time. This will include royal nannies, wartime nannies, Victoria, Edwardian era, notable nannies, and nannies that have influenced others. Displayed will also be some featured nannies of today and how they are influencing the industry.

Will it just be about British Nannies?

There will be some additional photos of educators who have who have shaped Early Years Education, information on colleges and qualifications studied through time as well as how a nanny was employed to how different it is today. We will also feature other organisations who work alongside our industry

Will there be refreshments?

There will be an opportunity to purchase tea and coffee, and a good old British Cupcake.

How long will the Exhibition take to view?

We estimate it will take around 30-40 minutes to view the Exhibition. However for some it might be slightly quicker, and for others they may want to spend more time. We do hope you will socialise after viewing upstairs with everyone for a little while. There is also an outside terrace.

Are there toilets?

Yes there are toilets at the venue.

What is the nearest public transport?

Old St Station and Angel is an 10 minute walk away. There are also regular buses 43, 214 and 394 from Islington and Hoxton, and 55 and 243 from Old Street.

Can I get tickets on the day/Can I just turn up?

We would prefer you to prebook tickets so we can estimate numbers coming. However we will have a limited amount of tickets on the door, for a slightly higher price, so to avoid disappointment we advise to pre-book.
