This is the perfect event to see the engineering industry in action- you will be taken 8 floors (40 metres!) underground for a stunning tour of the tunnels and platforms, which (in under 2 years) will be transporting 10,000's of people across the capital in record times.

We are delighted to announce the line up for the afternoon!

Joining you will be:

  • BBC’s Radio 5 live;
  • Claudia Webbe- Councilor of the Borough of Islington;
  • Graduates & apprentices from across the CrossRail Project;
  • And our headliner, CrossRail Project Manager Linda Miller! Nominated for the WISE Awards - which celebrates talented women leading the way in science, technology, maths and engineering- and featuring on Radio 4 Woman’s hour, Linda has an impressive engineering background. With an unbelievable resume to back it up- including US army paratrooper, helicopter pilot, an engineer on the new Cape Canaveral Rocket Launch complex and now the lead player in the development of the £15 billion CrossRail project.

    She’ll share with you her tips of trade on how she keeps motivated, on track and under control, as well as what lead her down the engineering and construction career path!

This is free but very exclusive event, with only a limited number of spaces available. So make sure to RSVP as soon as possible.

We hope to see you there!

In 2014, Tim and Guthrie, both 6th Form teachers, thought there must be easier ways for fellow teachers to support their students making applications to apprenticeships, work and university. So Exploria.co.uk was born.

Two years later, they realised the same difficulties existed for schools at the transition between Year 11 and 6th Form. Admissions+ was launched to make this process easier to manage too.

Exploria and Admissions+ are part of the Applicaa family. The mission of Applicaa is to prepare young people for life after school, and help schools to grow their students and grow their schools.
