Where can we park?

There is some street parking nearby but not in the hotel car park adjacent to Titan. It would probably make sense to park near Kinoah and walk down to Titan.

Question 2

Do I need experience?

Accepted Answer

No. This event is open to all backgrounds although we will get physical throughout whether that be through dynamic movement, exercise under breath hold or other tasks. It's a good idea to check with your doctor if you are unsure of your wellness in regards to physical activity.

Question 3

Will we go in the water?

Accepted Answer

Yes! But not for the duration of the  workshop. We will be doing a pool session most likely towards the end.

Question 4

Does this course qualify me for big wave surfing?

Accepted Answer

No. The content within this course will introduce you to methods that Nick has used whilst preparing for that kind of activity, but you would need more preparation than a workshop with me to be ready. We will not be taking people out to surf big waves as part of this workshop.

Question 5

Will we be doing any Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Accepted Answer

No. But we will be using some of the conditioning methods derived from BJJ to enhance mobility and introduce you to uncomfortable scenarios.

What is the purpose of this course?

Improve stress management, learn strategies to overcome fear, and build confidence, improve 
coping skills and overall wellbeing.

Question 7

Where will the course take place?

Accepted Answer

Predominantly at Titan Fitness in Praia da Luz, however we will be doing the pool session round the corner at Kinoah Luz.

Question 8

What do I need to wear/bring?

Accepted Answer

Wear shorts and t-shirt and trainers for the physical dryside training. Bring a water bottle and notepad. For the pool session you will need active swimwear, goggles and towel.

Question 9

Should I eat a meal before I come?

Accepted Answer

No. Please allow 2 hours after finishing your last meal before attending the sessions with us.
