About this event

  • Get inspired
  • Meet new people
  • Have fun

We are a digital consultancy just trying to make things a bit better in whatever small way we can. To this end, we've decided to put on a series of free, fun, lunchtime workshops over Zoom.

These take place every Wednesday at 1pm and last half an hour.

There is no fixed end point or firm schedule for the course themes; we'll find out what people want to discuss and draw on the knowledge, experience and imagination of the group each time.

Each session will be about 30 minutes long. Sign up here for a free ticket to receive the Zoom link to your booked session. No need to come to them all!

Wednesday workshops, huh? Tell me more!

Our aim is to get you thinking a bit differently about the digital tools and storytelling techniques you use every day, while building confidence to try some new things.

We want to create a supportive environment to share ideas, and send you off feeling inspired and equipped with some handy new tools. At the very least you should meet some nice new people.

Each session will include an introduction from us, a task for you to complete live on the call (sometimes in pairs/teams), and a bit of discussion and reflection. We are, of course, available by email in between sessions to answer questions and offer further support!

Here are just a few of the subjects we hope to covering in these sessions:

Using social creatively: Why and how to find the fun in digital communications

Setting the tone: Sharpen your online storytelling skills in half an hour.

Collaborating effectively: How to be there without ‘being there’.

Top tips for popular platforms: Get the most out of your social posts.

Building your brand online: Creative ways to think about who you are and what you stand for.

Dealing with a crisis: Put out fires the classy way.

Beyond social media: What else is out there? The platforms and approaches that might be better for you.

Podcasting: Is it for you? We’ll look at what this trendy medium does well (and what it doesn’t).

Understanding analytics: Get to grips with the latest tools and stats, and keep tabs on your hard work.
