The history of West Suffolk College dates to 1925 and today, the college is part of Eastern Education Group, which supports around 15,000 students both locally and nationally, including Abbeygate and One Sixth Form Colleges, primary and Special Educational Needs schools, and University and Professional Development provision. Additionally, the Group is home to an award-winning XR Lab, as well as a number of learning centres across Bury St Edmunds, Chatteris, Haverhill, Ipswich, Thetford, Soham, and Sudbury.
To celebrate 100 years of transforming education, we have various events planned throughout the year including our100th birthday party. Whether you are a current or former student or staff member, an employer partner or a member of the public wanting to know more about what we offer, we would love to see you there.
This event is open to all and there will be activities for families and children, with lots to see and do.
