Goodwood Open Farm Sunday

An opportunity to see behind the scenes of a diverse, organic farm. Visitors will be able to see heritage breeds of cattle, sheep and pigs alongside new technology. Sheep shearing demonstrations and sheep dog trials as well as tractor rides and woodland walks will give lots of incredible insights to the running of Goodwood Home Farm.


About This Farm

Home Farm is at the heart of the Goodwood Estate and comprises many enterprises including dairy, beef, sheep and pigs. The farm encompasses 4000 acres of stunning downland, intermixed with 6500 acres of woodland.

The farm produce will be available to purchase. The event is free to attend.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I park?

Parking is free at Open Farm Sunday at Goodwood. Follow signs for the Goodwood Farm Shop. The access road is at ///sticky.weeded.grub. There will no access to the farm via New Barn Hill.

May I bring my dog?

Only Guide Dogs / Assistance Dogs are able to join us at Open Farm Sunday. This is for the welfare of both the dogs and our farm livestock.

Can I get food and drink at the event?

Absolutely! Our farm produce will be available for purchase, and we'll be showcasing our food to eat on the day.

Are there accessible toilets?

Yes, there is an accessible toilet at the Education Centre, and one at the Lambing Barn.

Where can we wash our hands?

There will be handwashing facilities at the Education Centre and at the Lambing Barn.

Can we bring children?

Yes. The event is suitable for all the family. Parents / carers are responsible for their children at all times, knowing it is a working farm. The paths may be uneven so not always suitable for buggies. Please note there are no nappy changing facilities or disposal points on site.

What should I wear?

Please wear strong, sturdy footwear. The paths can be uneven and bumpy, and it is a working farm.
