Exciting news! A new programme for Barnsley parents and carers!

Come to our Empowering Parents Empowering Communities (EPEC) Being a Parent programme. These friendly group sessions will help you improve your child's growth, learning, and family relationships.

Over the weeks, parents and carers will be supported to:

• Manage your own and their child's feelings.

• Communicate and interact positively with their child.

• Use positive behaviour management strategies.

• Understand attachment and parent-child relationships.

• Handle parental and family stress.

• Understand parenting roles, expectations, and culture.

The programme lasts for 8 weeks. It is run by local parents who have completed special training to lead the course. Their experiences, backgrounds, skills, and qualities make each session inviting and engaging.

Please note these sessions are for family adults only and are not suitable for children.
