Reginald Barris almost single handedly kicked off the English stand-up scene in Austria, and in the decade since has become one of THE names for comedy not just in the country, but across Europe as a whole!
About the act:
Reginald Bärris is an American stand-up comedian based in Austria, and has quickly made a name for himself on the international circuit as one of the fastest rising up-and-comers in continental Europe. In addition to having been the opening act for comedy legends Russell Peters, Tom Segura, and Ari Shaffir, Reginald has also performed at several major international festivals, and headlined 60+ cities in 22 countries across Europe!
Since founding "Comedy for Expats" in 2016, Reginald has continually spearheaded Vienna's English comedy scene. In 2017 he abandoned his master studies to pursue comedy full-time, becoming the first college drop out in Austrian history to get an Artist Visa for English standup comedy.
Reginald went on to self-produce international comedy tours to sold-out shows across Europe. After huge amounts of underground success, he has made it his mission to continue bringing Europe's English comedy scene out of the shadows. Now with mainstream TV and radio appearances, a Kabarett Niedermair debut, and performances at Kultursommer Wien, he continues to connect the international scene and the traditional entertainment industry.
