About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Lots of children become discouraged by football initially. The combination of running, kicking and teamwork can feel overwhelming. Many youngsters feel daunted by the apparent complexity of the game. However, breaking down the learning process into manageable steps can significantly increase enjoyment and reduce feelings of anxiety. This article aims to provide a structured approach to make learning football a positive and rewarding experience for young players. Learning the fundamental skills in football offers benefits that extend far beyond the pitch. It enhances coordination, improves physical fitness and cultivates teamwork skills. Children develop their ability to follow instructions, cooperate with others, and learn the importance of contributing to a collective goal. It's also an excellent way to socialise, make new friends, and develop a lifelong love of sport. The social aspects of team sports are invaluable for children's development.

This program runs every Monday from 12th May - 16th June but it won't be running on the 26th of May.
