2025 MANSAG Spring Education Symposium and Charity Ball

Message from the Local Organising Committee Chair:

On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, I am delighted to announce that a warm welcome awaits all delegates of the 2025 MANSAG Spring Conference to our vibrant and multicultural Leeds City. Leeds is the UK’s digital highway, the fastest growing city in the North with a large student population. It has a Nigerian, Councillor Abigail Marshall Katung as its 130th Lord Mayor and another Nigerian, Professor Charles Egbu as a University Vice Chancellor. Both of them will be present to interact with you. Our City boasts a rich cultural scene, with a mix of historical and modern attractions.

With an array of erudite scholars and speakers, the MANSAG Leeds Conference has something for everybody whatever stage of your medical and allied health career. The evening’s Charity Ball will raise funds for the Lord Mayor’s Charity - Leeds Communities Foundation, MANSAG’s Welfare Fund and a Diaspora Charity. You will dance to foot stomping Afrobeats by DJ Festo and a cultural performance by the Nigerian Community Leeds!

This promises to be an exciting conference for Healthcare professionals of Nigerian descent from around the country and beyond, creating an environment for peer to peer engagement, educational talks and presentations as well as an exciting social dinner event and charity ball. Submit your abstracts here . Share your work, research, audits, service improvements and ideas with colleagues and friends. There are prizes for best and runner-up presentations. Deadline for abstract submission is 31st March, 2025.

Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking. The rate is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Rooms on this allocation can only be booked via the link. On the room release date, any unsold rooms will be released. Any new booking requests after this date will be quoted at the rate valid at that time. Room release date is 23:59hrs on 3rd April 2025.
