21st Annual 3 day Green Economics Institute Conference and Celebration

24th-25th October 2025


3 day Conference and Celebration after 21 years of the Green Economics Institute.

The Conference will take place at Oxford. Venue information tbc


Speeches and papers are invited on the following:

21 years of Green Economics

21 years of the Green Economics Institute

21 years of Economics-Past Present and Future

21 years into the future- how will economics look?

21 years into the future- how will the world look?

21 years into the future- what future scenario choices do we have and what is our role going to be?


We are calling for papers which will be adjudicated by our academic committee. We are also calling for speakers and workshops and participants.


Other services at the conference

The Conference will also consider the next steps in our Academic Journal, Our magazine, our TV station, our educational programmes.

It will also provide networking among participants.

It will also offer volunteering opportunities- for people willing to help over the few months leading up to the conference via on line work and in person as well during the conference days.

The conference will also publish the above papers in a book, and in proceedings.

There are opportunities for exhibition stands -please enquire.

There are opportunities to post adverts or promotions or artwork of compatible similar organisations on our many websites for several months in the run up to the conference and beyond. A brochure will be published shortly offering the options. Please contact us if you would like to take up this opportunity.


The conference will provide a retrospective overview of economics and green economics and social and environmental justice over the previous 21years.

This year we are pleased to offer payment for the all inclusive ticket option by 7 monthly installments of £35.00 a month March -to Sepember 2025, for 7 months paid via paypal invoice or bank transfer If you would like to take up this option please email us and we will raise the appropriate invoices for you or send you a link to our geiconferences.org website where you can register and use this option.

We are happy to partner with other organisations to sponsor individual sessions -usually half and hour 1 hour or 2 hours.

We also host your information for your organisation on one of our website for 6 months prior to the event or 6 months after the event. Please ask for more details of our packages. We have very active websites plus social media on which to host your information, subject to suitability and governance issues and approval by our team. Our rates are geared to smaller charities and organisations as well as larger ones.


Volunteers for the Event

If you would like to volunteer to help us plan and deliver this conference please email us today to express your interest- we have 20 places for work experience and academic accreditation for this conference for anyone who enjoys interesting, fascinating, innovative hard work and group participation but is also a self starter, cheerful positive, future thinking very kind, a team player, caring and can think outside the box. We require people who can meet on zoom one evening a week for 3 months before the event to help us plan it. We are an inclusive organisation which walks the talk with zero tolerance for abuse, racism, sexism, ageism of any kind etc. Don’t be shy to apply.
