About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours 30 minutes

We leave the gorge via Church hill down into Coalbrookdale and over into Horsehay and it’s fabulous pool via a lovely old trail through the new award winning town of Lightmoor. From here we will make our way over old greenways to the old pools of Dawley and on into Town Park where we can explore and find a good spot for lunch, toilets and maybe a look around the Chelsea gardens. After exploring further pools, we will head out past the old Chimney and onto the Silkin way. This lovely old rail cutting takes us to our penultimate throughway joined at the picturesque medieval Madeley Court. We will then make our way back to Woodside and a final descent into Ironbridge via the old allotments and Beech road.
