Meanwhile, Passport Office, Land Registry and Planning are battling a bottleneck of applications and sewage continues to pour unfettered into our coastline waters. All of this before we even begin to look at the cost of living and energy crises that were undoubtedly caused in large part by ill-conceived lockdown policies.

Post Brexit Britain was supposed to bring great opportunity and productivity, finally free of the shackles of EU bureaucracy. Yet as the new Prime Minister hits the ground running, what is the plan and what will it mean for citizens of the United Kingdom?

With energy prices soaring, despite the price caps and support, sectors from farming to hospitality are profoundly effected. Some talk glowingly about the 'post industrial society' and 'the end of history' but surely a modern, dynamic society requires productivity, innovation, creativity and confidence.

Having finally broken free of the seemingly endless covid restrictions, there are calls from some (such as The NHS Federation) to don masks again in spite of mounting evidence of substantial harms.

Meanwhile the concerns remain around Digital IDs, which are increasingly creeping in and being normalised, even if they are not yet 'compulsory'. Monetary privacy in relation to Central Bank Digital Currency remains an enormous threat to our basic liberties.

From education to health, infrastructure to leisure, it seems that elected representatives are more concerned with health and safety, risk assessments and certain ideologies than expanding knowledge, generating our cities and coast towns and robust wealth creation.

Where is the public voice within all of this?

What happened to the idea that citizens are responsible, capable and vital to a successful society? They should be engaged with openly and transparently.

While claims are made to allow free speech, the Online Safety Bill still hovers menacingly with some terrifying recent precedents in the judiciary. Meanwhile Big Tech ploughs on with its mantra 'when in doubt, censor'.

Join us for a #together panel, to start to address some of these enormous issues from a public perspective.

PLEASE NOTE - 265 SEATED, 100 STANDING

FIRST COME FIRST SERVED FOR SEATING
