This Lunch and Learn session is being provided by Hampshire and IOW Fire and Rescue Service for multi-agency partners of the Safeguarding Adults Boards across the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, Southampton, and Hampshire.

The 4LSAB Fire Safety Framework has been amended and re-published. The 4LSAB Fire Safety Framework is a document for all agencies and professionals to provide guidance and support in identifying and managing fire risk and vulnerabilities for individuals and families they are working with. The Fire Safety Framework is suitable for use by all agencies and professionals in all sectors and areas.

This webinar is to provide professionals with an understanding of the content of the 4LSAB Fire Safety Framework, highlighting the amendments made in the recent review, and an overview of how the Framework should be used in their practice.

Please note that only one ticket should be booked per named candidate. If you are booking for other members of your team, please ensure that their names are accurately recorded. Links to online events will be sent out in the week prior to the event being run.

The HSAB accepts bookings from delegates using a professional work email address. If you are not able to provide a work email address, please indicate on the booking form why this is.

Places on this course are very limited. If you are unable to attend a course, please ensure that you cancel your place through Eventbrite, or inform us at hsab@hants.gov.uk to do this on your behalf, so that spaces may be made available for others that wish to attend.

All training events are FREE to attend, and places must be booked in advance. HSAB will circulate details of all events in advance and will provide a link to Eventbrite to enable bookings to be made online. Failure to attend without providing an apology may result in you not being able to book on future courses.

The HSAB acts as the key mechanism for agreeing how agencies will work together effectively to safeguard and promote the safety and well-being of adults at risk and/or in vulnerable situations.

The HSAB aims to promote awareness and understanding of abuse and neglect among service users, carers, professionals, care providers and the wider community and works to generate community interest and engagement in safeguarding to ensure “Safeguarding is Everyone’s Business”.

The HSAB is responsible for ensuring that the systems in place locally to protect people at risk are proportionate, balanced and responsive. It commissions safeguarding adult reviews in cases where there have been poor outcomes to ensure that lessons are learned.

Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) is a partnership which is responsible for making sure robust arrangements are in place to support people experiencing abuse or neglect.
