Regenerative Agriculture WorkshopsThis session is the first of a three part series of Regenerative Agriculture Workshops for farmers, supported by North Wessex Downs AONB and Earth Trust. All workshops in this series are designed and delivered by Niels Corfield, England&#x27;s leading regenerative soil adviser. T﻿his session: Soil health for famers (part 1)Ever wanted to know what it is that makes plants grow strong and in drought?Want to know how to create friable top soil that doesn’t saturate or drought?Like to know how to create the most beneficial environment for crops/stock on your farm?I﻿f the answer to any of these questions is yes, then this workshop is for you. Topics will include:• An overview of regenerative agriculture and soil health principles• Empirical case for good soil management• Defining and evidencing soil health• Aggregation and crumb structure• Nutrient Cycling• Best Practice Management Solutions• Signposting and practical tipsPlease note this session is part 1 of 2 workshops focusing on soil health. It is not necessary to attend both sessions, it is recommended as the content will be complimentary.A﻿bout the workshopsFunding for these workshops is provided by Farming in Protected Landscapes at the North Wessex Downs, and hosted by Earth Trust to support all farmers in the AONB to access this training opportunity.
