What should I wear?

Trainers or walking boots depending on whether you are running or walking the route.

Do I need to bring anything?

Bottle of water, a charged phone in case of emergency, your ticket

What measures are in place to ensure my safety?

A thorough risk assessment will be undertaken before the event day, marshals and support staff will be placed around the route for support.

Do I have to fundraise to take part?

No you don’t, but you can if you want to. All funds raised will directly benefit your local hospitals

Can children come on the walk?

Yes! Although we do ask that they  be accompanied by an adult participant (age 18+) at all times.

Is the walk suitable for prams/buggies or wheelchairs?

No, unfortunately not, the rough terrain and hills will make this walk/run unsuitable for wheelchairs and buggies

What happens if it rains?

In the event of serious adverse weather, the event will be cancelled. We will be communicating regularly with all ticket holders in the lead up to the event.

Can I buy a drink or food?

Yes, you will be able to purchase food form the catering van next to the pavilion or pop into the pavilion to purchase a slice of cake.

Where do I park?

As you arrive you will be guided into the pavilion field to park, we ask that you follow the guidance of the volunteer when parking to ensure smooth access, parking and safety.
