The Bar and Mooting Society is holding a members event. This will be useful for those at all stages of their degree, whether you are narrowing your career choices or getting a feel of what the legal profession has to offer.
Louise Smith, Vice President of the Bar and Mooting Society at LSBU, has been in contact with the Bar Council to arrange for an advocate from the 'I Am The Bar' initiative to come to LSBU to speak to students who are interested in pursuing a career as a Barrister. Louise has arranged for Rehana Popal of 10 King's Bench Walk Chambers to lead this event, providing her own insights and answering any questions which you may have regarding a career at the Bar.
The Society will be providing food and drink for attendees: therefore, this event is for Bar and Mooting Society members only. Please be considerate when booking your ticket- there is limited availability so if for whatever reason you can no longer attend, do contact the society so that your ticket can be passed on to another student. The event will start promptly at 5:30pm in Room K313, so please arrive with plenty of time to settle in.
