The Telemedicine Support Unit/Single Point of Access (SPoA) referral forwarding service aims to improve efficiency of the referral pathway, provide feedback loops for community optometrists, and offer CPD-accredited educational sessions – all contributing to better patient care.
The SPoA have arranged an online lecture taking place on Wednesday 30th April from 7pm. The session will be delivered by Diana Butu (Consultant Ophthalmologist - Moorfields Eye Hospital). The session will include what conditions need referral to eye casualty and the management patients should expect from A&E.
This talk will have GOC CPD accreditation for optometrists (1 point - interactive).
