If you haven’t received an email from us two days before the event, please check your junk email folder, and then if there’s still nothing, contact tourism@calderdale.gov.uk or give us a call on 07874 882178.

Question 3

My partner/friend/granny is vegetarian but I’m not! Which tour should we go on?

Accepted Answer

The non-vegetarian tour still includes one vegetarian sample per stop, so they will still have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the food on the tour. However, we also offer a fully vegetarian tour which includes at least one vegan option per stop, so this may be worth considering.

Can you cater for my dietary requirements?

Due to the nature of creating a well-balanced and thoughtful culinary experience, many of our tours are unable to accommodate certain dietary restrictions. Please do contact us prior to booking your tour to see if we are able to accommodate your dietary needs.

Question 5

Can you tell us before the event what food will be on the tour?

Accepted Answer

We don’t share in advance which traders will feature on your specific tour, as this can sometimes change at the last minute, due to the nature of working with market traders who require flexibility. However we can promise you an interesting variety of local and international food!

Question 6

I have access requirements, can I come on the tour?

Yes! The tour does involve some walking between food and drink stops, but we have scheduled in opportunities to sit down at various points.  Please contact us to discuss any specific access needs.

Question 7

Should I eat lunch beforehand?

Accepted Answer

On the food tour you’ll visit at least three different food stops and one drink stop, and can expect to be full by the end of the tour – so, no need to eat lunch beforehand.

Question 8

Are drinks included?

Accepted Answer

Drinks aren't included on the tour, but you will be able to buy drinks on the way round if you wish.
