Session 10 - Creative Fundraising Ideas in Activity Provision

Learn unique fundraising ideas that bring people together! This session introduces methods for hosting craft sales, organising fitness challenges, and running talent shows. Perfect for providers looking to raise funds creatively, while building community spirit and connection.

Aim: To introduce innovative and community-focused fundraising ideas that support fundraising goals and build community spirit.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Outline the steps to organise a basic craft sale fundraiser, including necessary preparations and roles.

2. Identify fitness challenges suitable for fundraising and explain how to structure these for maximum participation.

3. Create a sample programme for a talent show fundraiser, including ideas to encourage diverse participation and community involvement..

Staff will need to give the course their full attention and should not be on duty.

As an attendee of the training day you MUST have your camera on during all of the sessions, this is to verify your participation/attendance.

Certificates of attendance will only be issued to attendees who attend for the whole of the session.
This course will be delivered via ZOOM and will include, presentations, discussion and reflection, case studies, videos and demonstrations. Please make sure that you are familiar with using ZOOM.
