Adolescent Lives: Challenges & Opportunities

UCL's Grand Challengesprogramme aims to stimulate and support cross-disciplinary research collaborations across the university and beyond to answer important questions, set the agenda for furture research, and develop solutions of societal impact.

UCL Grand Challenges

Building on <A HREF="https://www.ucl.ac.uk/grand-challenges/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">UCL's Grand Challenges</A>' Adolescent Lives initiative, this workshop will present an opportunity to highlight the emerging, innovative cross-disciplinary research conducted under the initiative and discuss ways in which findings from the programme's small grant projects can lead to big ideas.
The workshop will address the challenges and opportunities of adolescence and explore through the lenses of different cultures, social and economic perspectives, and health, meanings and conceptions of adolescence both locally and globally. The workshop will bring together researchers from across UCL, participants from funding bodies, the charity sector, and public policy, and young people themselves.
