Adult Art Workshop: Make a silver necklace with Laura Murray
Come join us at McIntosh at the Willow for a fun and creative workshop led by the talented artist Laura Murray! Learn how to make a silver necklace inspired by Glasgow style artists like Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh. Using imagery and colors from “The Salon de Luxe” at Mackintosh at the Willow, you'll draw and sketch ideas, work in wire, make a mock-up, and craft a final sterling silver neckpiece. You’ll use hammers and steel blocks to create varied wire thicknesses and compose semi-precious beads into different color combinations, resulting in a silver neckpiece to take home.
