Do I need previous dance experience to participate?

No! These classes are aimed at beginners, as much as those who have danced before. The pace of classes will be gentle and determined by the group, so perfect for those finding their feet with new steps.

Question 2

What should I wear?

Anything that is comfortable to move in! Layers to remove as we warm up are encouraged, with leggings or loose trousers. Corbridge Youth Initiative is a carpeted space, so dance shoes, thick socks or trainers are welcome.

Question 3

I don't understand the booking and payment process - can you help?

Absolutely! There is a capacity of 15 participants, so by signing up here, you have reserved your place. Classes are £7.00 per session and will be taken at the end. This can be either cash or card payment.

Question 4

Do I have to come every week?

Accepted Answer

No - these classes are drop-in and busy life friendly! We will always start things from the top each week, so if you miss out one week you'll easily catch up. Just make sure you book your place for each session here.

Question 5

I've booked my place, but I can no longer attend. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

If you book a session but are no longer able to attend, you can return your tickets via Eventbrite, or email beth.veitch@icloud.com. This is much appreciated, as there may be someone on a waiting list who can take your place.
