'It's always been about stories...'
Visual artist and creative storyteller, Joe Winstanley, who works under the name Studio Skai, shares his process and journey so far as a way of understanding why folk narrative has always been a part of his practice and interest, consciously or not.
He will then briefly share his nerdy database of Peak District folktales and how this could soon be an open-source tool for fellow artists, writers and interested folk to continue to preserve and breathe new life into the folk stories of the Peak District.
The talk will begin at 4pm, attendees will be able to enter from 3.45pm.
