A recent report by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) found that planning rules in England have often failed to connect new homes effectively to public transport. The study revealed that many new developments leave residents dependent on cars, with public transport options being less accessible.
To help tackle this challenge the Department of Transport (DoT) have developed a new tool to help planners assess and improve the connectivity of locations to support more sustainable planning and this challenge, the new approach, solutions and outcomes to date is the subject of our webinar.
Speakers include Rob Singleton, Head of Planning, Housing and Transport at DfT and Ana Moreira from Triad Group Plc.
