About this event

BAFTA albert Sustainability Champion Course and become accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project.

This 8-hour course (delivered over two, 4-hour sessions) is designed for people who are eager to champion green practices within their organisations and/or productions, including executives, managers and department heads.

Over the 8-hours you will receive comprehensive training on sustainability fundamentals: the wider context for the climate crisis, the challenges it poses for the planet, and how this is impacting the screen industries across all departments.

Please note the programme runs for two consecutive weeks. You will be required to attend both sessions in full and to complete the assessment.

On successful completion, you will receive a Sustainability Champion Certificate, marking you as officially Carbon Literate as recognised by the Carbon Literacy Project. You will also receive a personalised albert Academy training badge to share.

Completing this training will count as evidence for albert certification. [Question: Have any of the production staff or crew attended albert training or will they do so by the end of production?]

The cost of attendance is £395.00 + VAT. Please note the listed price on eventbrite is inclusive of VAT and eventbrite fees.

Please note due to tax reasons, we’re currently unable to offer this training to anyone outside of the UK, however we hope we can open it up more widely soon. If you book from outside of the UK your booking may be cancelled and refunded.

BAFTA albert makes every effort to ensure our trainings are accessible to all. Please contact alberttraining@bafta.org if you have any questions or would like to discuss the access adjustments available for albert Academy trainings.
