About this event

Baltic's Quayside Tour

Thursdays 10:00

Donation & free tickets available

Explore the NewcastleGateshead Quayside and local history as Baltic Crew take you on this relaxed tour.*

Meeting outside Baltic, we'll welcome you from our front doors, travelling over the Millennium Bridge, learning about the local history along the way. You'll discover facts about the historical buildings, take in the beautiful views and hear about the role we play in our local area.

As we walk along the Quayside. you'll find out more about the seven bridges that cross the River Tyne, and delve into the regeneration of NewcastleGateshead's Quayside, the role we play in our local area, and the relationships formed along the way. The tour will continue under the Tyne Bridge passing our Kittiwake friends.

We will then continue over the Swing Bridge and along South Shore Road ending at Baltic, where you can join us in Front Room for a well-earned refreshment. The tour will last approximately 45 minutes.

Baltic Crew are happy to answer questions throughout the tour, and there’ll be the opportunity to take photos along the way.
