About this event

Discover the art of finger drumming and learn how to create your own sample-based beats using a powerful yet simple iPad app and an affordable Bluetooth MIDI pad controller. In this hands-on workshop, music technology for education specialist Bradley Smith will guide you through the essential techniques to kickstart your beat-making journey—no prior experience needed.

You'll explore rhythm, timing, and creative composition in a fun, approachable way, gaining practical skills that you can continue to build on at home. The app used is compatible with iPads, iPhones, and Android devices, meaning the beats don’t stop when the session ends.
Whether you're into hip-hop, electronic, or experimental sounds, this workshop is your gateway into the world of beat making.

Please note we have very limited capacity to ensure a quality experience. Please ensure you are able to attend before booking, and if your circumstances change, please cancel your ticket to allow someone else to book on.
