We are excited to invite you to a specialist study day, an opportunity for breast cancer nurse specialists to enhance their expertise and make a significant impact in the care of patients with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). Organised by RCNi on behalf of the UK Charity for Triple Negative Breast Cancer, this one-day event also offers the chance to become a ‘TNBC Champion’. As a TNBC Champion, you will receive ongoing support to provide specialist knowledge and information, ensuring your team can offer the best care to TNBC patients.

Event details:

Date: Friday 9th May 2025.
Location: The Scotsman Hotel, Edinburgh
Capacity: 25 places available.
Eligibility: Open to all breast cancer nurse specialists, with preference for those within reasonable travelling distance. Membership of the RCN is not required.
Cost: Free to attend.
CPD Hours: This is a participatory CPD event.
Travel expenses: Travel expenses will be reimbursed for those travelling from a reasonable distance.

With new treatments for TNBC emerging, it is crucial for nurses to stay informed about the complexities of this type of breast cancer. TNBC is more likely to metastasise, requiring demanding and prolonged care. By becoming a TNBC Champion, you will play a vital role in supporting your team and enhancing patient care.

About the study day

The TNBC Champions study day is designed to educate, engage and enthuse participants who are passionate about TNBC. This participatory CPD event will equip you with the latest knowledge and skills to become a TNBC Champion in your nursing team.
