About this event

Experience and learn about the production processes of performance dresses including Ballroom & Latin dresses, costumes as seen on Strictly Come Dancing, well known West End Shows and prestigious Film Productions. We will explain the history of the company and how the company evolved from its roots in the Peggy Spencer dance studio into the largest manufacturing site within the London area. We will highlight the challenges UK manufacturing faces and the mindset, comittment and skill sets required to meet all these tight deadlines. We will reveal where we source our fabrics from and why stocking colour co-ordinated materials is so essential for our operation.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have. We will finish this experience with a walk through the showroom, our stock rooms and all production facilities including our magical decoration department.

How Long is the tour?

The tour lasts approximately 2 hours

Is there parking?

Saturdays yes, limited on week days.

Are there food facilities?

No but there are places within a short walking distance to our building.

Can we take pictures?

Yes in the showroom and stock rooms, not in the production rooms.

Whats the nearest mode of public transport?

What time does the tour start?

Tours start at 2pm apart from private tours which will be discussed with a member of staff.

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive up to 15 minutes prior to your booking.

Is there disabled access?

There are multiple sets of staircases within the building so we advise if you have limited mobility this tour may not be suitable for you.

Can I refund, exchange or rebook my tickets?

No due to high volume of bookings we are unable to exchange your tickets.

What does the tour entail?

Starting with a champagne reception, we stay in the showroom for the introduction and the main talk. Then we will go for a walk throughout the whole premises, exploring the actual production rooms of the famous "Strictly" dresses including the "magic" crystallising section. And much more!
