About this event

Black History, Personal Empowerment and African Cultural Studies Course

Introducing Black History, Social Studies, and Business, from a Black perspective

Due to popular demand, the Croydon Supplementary Education Project will be hosting yet another 18-week adult education evening program starting on

NEW START DATE ...13th March 2025

The course, Black History, Personal Empowerment and African Cultural Studies, is divided into seven modules that are focused on the Black experience and taught from a Black perspective.

The modules are:

· History

· Political Studies

· Sociology

· Psychology

· Religion

· Science and Technology

· Business and Economics

Our course gives adults the empowering heritage content they were never exposed to at school, college, or university. Just as we believe that children should take their learning seriously, we believe that adults must be equally serious about their own learning and personal development.

People who have completed our rich and challenging programme really have been empowered to move themselves and the community forward. Our past students have been inspired to greater heights. Some have pursued higher degrees in history, others have published in this area, some have become workshop leaders, and others have become entrepreneurs. Past students continue to rave about the positive impact our course has had on their lives.

We welcome you to join us.
