The Blue Light Project- working with treatment resistant drinkers.


A Blue Light client is a person with alcohol problems, who either non engages or does not benefit from treatment and places burden on public services.

The training focuses on alcohol related brain disease and cognitive impairment, self-neglect, safeguarding, executive capacity and legislation.

The project looks at how best to support these people to reduce alcohol related deaths by using harm reduction, assertive outreach and the multi-disciplinary approach.

The training is for professionals only and will provide you with the tools to identify who a Blue Ligh client is and how best to support these people with a district wide multi-disciplinary approach.
