You are cordially invited to the launch of 'Relational Counselling and Psychotherapy' with author, Linda Finlay, hosted by the Centre for Creative-Relational Inquiry on Wednesday, 30th April. Arrival is at 4:15 pm, for the event to start at 4:30 pm at Martin Hall, New College, University of Edinburgh.We are honoured to have Linda Finlay visiting the University of Edinburgh for this special occasion.

Linda will share her reflections on the book, providing insights into her most recent work.Additionally, three esteemed therapists, Jameela Shabbir Khokhawala, Isabel Aparicio Collados, and Elaine Goldie will respond to the book, enriching the discussion with their perspectives.Join us for an evening of engaging dialogue and exploration of relational counselling and psychotherapy. ​Edgar Rodríguez-Dorans will chair.

At the end of the event there will be an opportunity to purchase a copy of the book and get it signed by Linda.

Dr Linda Finlay is a relational-centred, existential Integrative Psychotherapist and Supervisor (UKCP registered) in private practice in York, UK. She also teaches psychology and counselling at the Open University (UK) and works as a freelance academic consultant. She has published many books and articles on psychotherapy, occupational therapy, reflexivity and phenomenological research. Her most recent books are psychotherapeutically focused: Relational Integrative Psychotherapy: Engaging Process and Theory in Practice (Wiley); Practical Ethics: A relational approach (Sage); and The therapeutic use of self in counselling and psychotherapy (Sage).​
