About this event

The Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service Dorset invites you to a conference about holistic and effective rehabilitation approaches.

This conference will bring together health care staff working with people with acquired brain injuries such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, tumour, or brain infections.

The conference will focus on multidisciplinary collaborations of professionals. It will be of interests to occupational therapists, speech therapists, clinical and neuropsychologists, doctors and rehabilitation physicians, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, nurses and case managers.

The conference will include presentations about our holistic rehabilitation philosophy, discussions about effective brain injury rehabilitation programmes, case stories and displays about bespoke person-centred rehabilitation activities.

The wide range of topics will include:

- Whole-Person perspective of brain injury rehabilitation

- Bio-psycho-social formulations in brain injury rehabilitation

- Advances in understanding and treating Mild Head Trauma

- Cognitive and neuropsychology interventions

- Holistic and mind-body focussed interventions.

We believe that attending this conference will provide you with an opportunity to gain insights and learn from the best in the field, while providing opportunities to network with other professionals who are passionate about holistic and person-centred brain injury rehabilitations.
