About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Join us for an evening of fellowship with author and speaker Emily Owen, and experience first-hand what it means to overcome obstacles in pursuit of Christ.

Emily is passionate about communication, growing from her own story when, as a teenager, she was diagnosed with the neurological condition NF2-Schwannomatosis (NF2), leading to the complete loss of her hearing.

Emily went on to become a sought-after speaker, touching on hugely important subjects in today's world, such as disability, being valued and dealing with loss. Emily has been interviewed on multiple radio stations including Premier Radio and TBN, and has authored many books including 'Still Emily', 'God's Calling Cards', and 'Also Made: A Star Called Reeva'.

Emily will be joining us at the GLO Centre to share some of her story as well as some encouragement and fellowship with us, and with you.
