Navigating Creativity, Connection & Change: A Future Vision for Emerging Researchers
Each year the British Society of Gerontology (BSG) Emerging Researchers in Ageing association (ERA) holds a pre-conference session ahead of the BSG annual conference. The pre-conference is designed to provide a vibrant opportunity for early career researchers in gerontology to share research milestones, practice presentation skills, learn from peers, and network with others.
Join us at the 2025 BSG ERA pre-conference!
This year, our topic is:
🔍 Navigating Creativity, Connection & Change: A Future Vision for Emerging Researchers
📅 Date: Monday 23rd June - Tuesday 24th June, 2025
⏰ Time: 12:00PM - 5:30PM (DAY 1) & 09:00AM - 5:30PM (DAY 2)
📍 Venue: University of Surrey, (building and room tbc).
Please note: in line with this year's BSG main conference format, the ERA pre-conference session will also be in-person only.
Building on feedback we received from the 2024 pre-conference, we've built in formal networking activities, including an optional social activity on Monday evening. If you'd like to join us for a Ghost tour of Guildford (£10pp), please make sure to include this add on when purchasing your tickets. The ghost tour will last approximately 1h, starting at 6.30pm. We encourage delegates to then split off into smaller groups for networking over dinner, as unfortunately we were unable to find a venue that could accommodate our group size and requirements.
Please get in touch with any accessibility questions or requirements: era@britishgerontology.org
Abstracts can be submitted here: https://forms.office.com/e/ewSCe3Y7U7
(Deadline: 23rd March).
We look forward to seeing you at the 2025 BSG ERA pre-conference.
