A Celebration of Country Sports and pursuits over the Whitsun Bank Holiday – May 25th & 26th

Set within the beautiful surroundings of Burghley House, Stamford. This show has grown to be a favourite with locals offering excellent country sports demonstrations and arena displays.

Main arena events will run throughout the day and include falconry, horseboarding, scurry driving and gun dogs displays.

The World of Dogs offers the very best in dog displays accompanied by a gun dog clinic, multi-scurry, fun dog show, dog agility, hoopers, barn hunt, chase the bunny, lurcher racing and showing. Something for every dog lover and country enthusiast, so don’t leave your dog at home.

There is also the opportunity to have a go at clay shooting whether your a novice, beginner or an expert with your own gun there is tuition and advice on hand. The shooting village offers field archery and a range of airgun disciplines with ATEO – Airgun training and education organisation.

While the Food Glorious Food offers a range of selected national and local food producers and specialist street foods and drinks whilst relaxing to live jazz and folk. Here you will find the Country Kitchen hosting a number of cookery demonstrations throughout the day – the perfect place to relax and unwind.

A large craft village with craft marquees and craft demonstrations such as Lace Making, Spinning, Knitting, Blacksmiths and Chainsaw Carving it is the perfect place to buy that unique gift.

If your looking for something for the garden the chainsaw carving area is full of amazing sculptures to buy. Here you can watch the speed carving, a timed event held in the speed carving arena, with each piece being put up for auction at the end - a great and fun way to buy your favourite piece.

With country clothing, quality country trade stands and children’s amusements we can offer you an unbeatable family day out in the stunning grounds of Burghley House.

Can I use my ticket any day?

Yes, tickets can be used for any day but are valid for one day only.

Can I bring my Dog?

Yes, all dogs must be kept on a lead (except if participating in an event). Dog bags to be used and disposed in bins provided. No Dogs to be left unattended in cars. Please be aware shows are busy places with lots of noise from arena attractions and the clay shooting.

Is there disabled parking?

Yes, this will be at the front of the car park. Show your blue badge to the car park attendants - please do not stop and ask for directions as this will affect the traffic flow.

Can I hire a mobility scooter?

In 1977 the Queen's Silver Jubilee Year we held our 1st Antique & Collectors Fair. In 1980 we held our very 1st Craft Fair which then started of the craft fair movement, 1992 saw our very first Country Fair at Himley Hall which proved such a success we carried on to organise events at Sandringham, Burghley House and Bowood House to name a few. The first ever English Open Chainsaw Carving Competition was held at Sandringham, thirteen years on the competition is now held at our Cheshire Event and continues to draw the worlds top chainsaw carvers to compete for the coverted title. With Game & Country Shows, Craft Shows and Food Festival all over the Country and with nearly 40 years of experience you're sure to have a great day out.
