About the walk:
This route will take approx 2hrs and is a flat lake walk. Suitable for any fitness level.
A Sunday well spent in the Lake District! A stunning trail around the picturesque Buttermere Lake. Taking in the great views with mountains on all ends with waterfalls along the way.
Part of this route requires road walking where extra care must be taken. Appropriate footwear recommended as terrain is dependant on weather conditions. There may be livestock including sheep so please be mindful if bringing your dog(s).
This trail can be very popular although is a more remote area of the Lake District, especially on weekends. I recommend arriving slightly earlier to ensure parking.
