<p>Out of sight and out of mind: identifying wartime wrecks in Welsh territorial waters: focus on research undertaken between 2012-2022, whereby a multibeam sonar system onboard the research vessel Prince Madog was used to survey every one of the 300+ charted offshore wreck sites in Welsh territorial waters.  The research has yielded potentially important results from both a scientific and historical perspective that are relevant to the development of marine renewable energy projects, environmental risk management and maritime cultural heritage at the global scale.  The talk will feature high-resolution sonar images and accounts on the loss of numerous vessels (trawlers, tankers, cargo ships and submarines) lost off the coast of Ynys Cybi and the surrounding coastline of Ynys Môn during WW1 and WWII.     </p><p>Wildlife at South Stack: What makes South Stack a nationally important site for wildlife and how the RSPB staff and volunteers care for it.</p>
