About this event

  • Event lasts 5 hours

This in-person event is run in partnership with TCS for schools in London.

We’re inviting year 5 and 6 pupils to join us at TCS's amazing Pace Port Innovation Hub, where you’ll explore what it’s really like to work in the technology sector.

Led by industry professionals utilising TCS's flagship STEM education programme goIT, students will develop essential skills for their future careers. Through hands-on workshops, they'll design Tech for Good solutions to real-world challenges, fostering digital innovation, career readiness and global citizenship.

Students will be introduced to key concepts such as:

  • Design Thinking
  • Innovation Lifecycles
  • User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX)
  • How to Pitch Ideas Effectively

They’ll also hear from a panel of inspiring women working in the tech industry, with the opportunity to ask them questions.

Please note:

  • Refreshments and lunch will be provided
  • Schools are invited to bring a group of up to 10 year 5 and/or 6 pupils, plus teacher/s

Bookings must be made by teachers. 1 ticket per pupil is needed (teachers do not require separate tickets).
