Summary:
Case file audits are an essential tool in evaluating the effectiveness of safeguarding practices. These audits involve reviewing a sample of case files to ensure that professionals are following best practices, meeting statutory requirements, and delivering high-quality services. The audit process examines how well agencies have worked together, the quality of decision-making, and whether safeguarding actions were timely and appropriate.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the purpose and importance of case file audits in safeguarding practice.
  • Learn how to conduct a thorough case file audit, identifying key areas for evaluation.
  • Understand the role of audits in improving multi-agency collaboration and service delivery.

IMPORTANT: As of 1st February 2025, attendees will no longer be provided an individual certificate of completion. Resources will be circulated following the training with an email confirming attendance.
