About this event

Join us to hear about what the latest scientific evidence tells us about vulnerability and exposure to weather-related hazards in the UK, the cost implications of the impacts of climate change, the benefits for society and the economy of taking strong action to adapt to climate change now, and the urgent priorities for the next five years.

The Climate Change Committee is publishing the latest independent assessment of climate change risks and opportunities for the UK, required by the UK Climate Change Act every five years.

The CCRA3 Assessment is the result of more than three years of work, with input from over 450 experts from 130 organisations, and provides a comprehensive view of UK climate change to inform the Government’s third UK Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA3 Government Report) and the next UK and devolved National Adaptation Plans.

Organised by

The Climate Change Committee (CCC) is an independent, statutory body established under the Climate Change Act 2008. Our purpose is to advise the UK and devolved governments on emissions targets and to report to Parliament on progress made in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for and adapting to the impacts of climate change.
