Our webinars will be held monthly and will welcome industry experts to talk about a wide range of mammals and all things mammal related.

This month's webinar will give an insight into the What, Why, Where, and Which species are suitable for monitoring through CCTV systems.Whether you are a bat surveyor considering night vision options, a conservationist looking to explore options beyond the trail camera, or a naturalist who wants to know more about local wildlife, this introductory webinar will set you on the right path and give an indication of what can be achieved using CCTV.

Susan Young has researched portable CCTV systems for 7 years with Natural England and the Woodland Trust and is applying her skills and experience to developing new forms of training with our training committee.

Organised by

We are the only organisation involved in the study and conservation of all British mammals - from dormice to dolphins, and bats to badgers. We support a growing network of amateur and professional mammalogists and conservationists working for mammals across the country and abroad, and provide a hub of information and expertise. We are the national voice for mammal conservation, working to identify the threats mammals face and halt declines before it’s too late; we provide scientific advice to advocate sound conservation policies based on thorough research and surveying; and we inform and educate people of all ages to raise awareness of mammal conservation issues.

THE MAMMAL SOCIETY IS VAT REGISTERED BUT WE ARE AN ELIGIBLE BODY SO OUR TRAINING & EVENTS ARE VAT EXEMPT.
