About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours
  • Ages 16+

Come and learn how to draw preparatory portrait sketches with charcoal led by artist Kim Fewell.

The workshop will focus on learning to see tone and angles, to be able to get a likeness. We will be working from black and white photos. The workshop is aimed at beginners and those who want to be able to produce a simple tonal study in preparation for a portrait painting. We will not be tracing, using a grid or paint.

All materials will be provided and drinks and light refreshments are included in the cost of the ticket. All proceeds from this workshop will go to supporting Shieldfield Art Work's community arts programme.
