About this event

Charity Connections is a dedicated business network for professionals in London's diverse Charitable, Non-Profit, Political, and Third sectors.

We invite you to the World Famous Davys at St. James in Mayfair for our April 2025 Networking Reception. Enjoy an evening of delightful food and drinks while engaging in discussions about the Third Sector. This is a great chance to learn, make new friends, and discover new business opportunities.

With over a decade of experience, our networking events have become a successful, cost-efficient, and enjoyable method for generating new connections.

By popular request this event is now part of The “Good Group” business networking evening - our End Of The Month Tuesday Meetup for those working in London based worthy ventures… ESG Professionals, Environmental Consultants, Charity Teams, Non-Profit Experts, NGOs, Fundraising Experts, Fund Managers, Political Personnel, Tax Wizards, Property, Creatives & Communications and anyone involved in these or related sectors.

A former Champagne cellar with vaulted ceilings, Davy’s at St. James’s has long been a popular part of St.James society with its well stocked wine bar and fabulous restaurant - a great haunt for a hearty lunchtime meal and after-work drinks. Join us in their private cellar bar for friendly networking and new business connections.

Frequently asked questions

Can I book onto this event? (Strangely, our number one asked question :)

Yes, our events are open for anyone to book - any size of firm, any stage of your career – all we ask is you conduct yourself in a friendly, professional manner and have a good time. No membership required - once you have attended your 1st event you will receive a discount code for future events.

I’ve never been to a networking event – what happens?

Networking is the no.1 proven way to generate new business. Just buy a ticket, turn up and chat over drinks in a friendly setting. About 20% of our guests are first-timers. Our team are always on hand to help. Over the past decade our events have made millions of pounds worth of deals for attendees.

What’s the dress code?

Whatever you feel comfortable in. Most people wear business attire or business casual. We would recommend bringing lots of business cards or using the LinkedIn app’s QR code facility to easily connect with others at the event.

Who goes to your events?

Numbers vary but generally 40-70 people (depends on weather, holidays, sporting events etc.) This is a “networking” event NOT a “selling” event – the idea is to build your network, those you meet may have clients that could use your services and vice-versa. See above for sample sectors that attend.

Organised by

We organize monthly networking gatherings in Central London specifically for the Third Sector, which includes charities, groups, political organizations, and NGOs. These events aim to unite individuals engaged in these crucial sectors. People from any organization size or representing any sector are invited to join us. This is an opportunity to mingle, enjoy some refreshments, and discuss various topics like fundraising, public awareness, employment, public relations, governance, or any other subject that could aid your cause. Additionally, we encourage the participation of companies and individuals who collaborate closely with the Third Sector, to assist in enhancing and expanding their significant efforts.
