I’m a new beginner what shall I wear?

Normal loose sports clothing. Shorts, joggers, t-shirt. There is no need for trainers as we train barefoot. However, if you’d prefer to wear trainers? that's ok too.

Will a sword be provided?

Yes, new starters will be provided with an Annjeongum (sponge sword) This has to be returned at the end of the workshop.

Is there any paperwork?

Yes, there will be a short pre-training questionnaire. This is required to be completed before commencing the workshop.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, children must be 12 years. There is no upper age limit.

Question 7

Is there an Instructor programme? What are the minimum requirements?

Yes, there is currently an Instructors programme. You have to meet the minimum critera of being over 18 years old, hold the minimum rank of 1st Dan, and have and be running your own dojang/dojo/school/academy.  Please register your interest at www.haidonggumdo.co.uk/findoutmore/
