Our annual event Cheltenham's Three Peak Challenge, is back for 2025!
The 22 mile walk which starts at our Charity HQ, Well Close House provides you with the opportunity to take part in an exhausting but exhilarating adventure through Gloucestershire’s most picturesque landscapes whilst tackling the three tallest peaks in the county; Crickley, Leckhampton and Cleeve hill! The entry fee of £15 goes directly to our Charity Aim Up, but we also ask you take part in fundraising for the charity, all donations will help us provide life-changing support for disabled adults across Gloucestershire, we need you now more than ever.

Checkpoints are located are to be confirmed closer to the date - each participant will be supplied with a map of the route as well as any details needed for the day. Each checkpoint provides water refills, and toilet facilities.
Following feedback from our previous events, the event will have staggered starts, if you plan to run this challenge we advice you to turn up for 6.30am. Please give yourself enough time to complete the full route / the portion of the route you plan to complete. The full route takes an average of 10 and a half hours if you walk.
The first checkpoint on the route will be Well Close House - the HQ of our charity Aim Up. We will be be selling snacks and drinks to walkers with drinks and a BBQ at the finish line.
Once you have created your fundraising page please send the link over to alex.didcote@aimup.co.uk. We recommend either JustGiving or GoodHub to setup your page, this makes it easier to track progress.

Event Costs and Fundraising
In return for a secured place in the event, you must pay the correct fee, which is available via Eventbrite. You are expected to raise an additional £50 in sponsorship to the best of your ability. All funds raised in the name of Aim Up must be paid to Aim Up. You have a legal responsibility to ensure that all sponsorship monies and donations you receive for the event are promptly paid to Aim Up.
General Conditions of Entry
- You must be 16 years of age or above on the day the event commences to take part in either the guided or self-guided challenge.
- We advise children to be over the age of 5 to take part. However, participation is ultimately at the discretion of the parent or carer. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18.
- All participants enter the event entirely at their own risk. Aim Up shall not be liable for any injury or loss that participants may suffer as a result of taking part in the event, except where such injury or loss results from the negligence or omissions of Aim Up. Aim Up is covered by appropriate public liability insurance.
- By entering the event, you confirm that you are aware of the risks involved and the level of fitness required to participate. You agree that you are physically capable of taking part in the event. If in any doubt, you are advised to consult your doctor before undertaking any exercise programme.
- You agree to inform Aim Up of any changes to your medical condition from the date of registration up until the start of the event. Participants aged 65 or over, or those with pre-existing medical conditions, may be required to provide a doctor’s certificate confirming their fitness to participate.
- Personal liability, medical, belongings/equipment, or personal accident insurance is not provided by Aim Up. You are advised to arrange such insurance if required.
- All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner throughout the event.
- You must ensure you have suitable kit. We recommend:
- Ankle-high walking boots (sturdy trainers or mid-ankle walking boots are also acceptable)
- Full waterproofs (jacket and trousers)
- A sun hat and sun cream Comfortable clothing suitable for all weather conditions and a variety of terrain. - If it is discovered at any time that a participant is ineligible to take part (or participation should have been refused for any reason), Aim Up reserves the right to disqualify or refuse entry to that participant.
- Itineraries, schedules, and other arrangements may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond the control of Aim Up or the safety team.
- During the event, you must comply fully with the instructions of Aim Up staff and the safety team.
- Aim Up may, at its sole discretion, withdraw places on the event if it is deemed necessary in its best interest. Aim Up also reserves the right to cancel the event if required due to circumstances outside its control. In such cases, all donations you have paid will be refunded.
Photography and Publicity
By taking part in the event, you agree that your name and any photographs or footage taken during your participation may be used by Aim Up to publicise and organise events, and to promote the work of the charity. This may include brochures, posters, leaflets, display boards, websites, and other materials.
Data Protection
If your personal details (e.g., address or contact number) change after submitting your application, you must notify us immediately. All personal information will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

By participating in this event, you agree to the terms and conditions above and the following disclaimer:
“I declare that I will abide by the age limits set for this event and follow all rules and instructions. I confirm that I will not take part unless I am medically fit to do so and understand that I participate at my own risk. I accept that Aim Up, its sponsors, partners, and marshals will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs, or expenses arising from my participation in the event, unless caused by their negligence or omission.”
If you are signing up on behalf of someone under the age of 16, this declaration also applies on their behalf. Anyone over the age of 16 must complete their own copy.
