Description

Do you find yourself looking at the light show before looking at the artist anytime you’re at a concert or event? Do you wonder how they manage all those effects and what fixtures they use? Do you think it’s complicated to put together such a light show? Or would you rather have programmed the show yourself?

Then we offer exactly what you are looking for. Register for one of our Chimp Software V2 training sessions and create your own light shows! During these sessions you will learn all the ins and outs of our Chimp light controllers. After the Beginner’s training you will already be able to create your own show. In the Advanced training we will dive down deeply into the design flow, so you will be able to program a more comprehensive show.

How much is it?

Registration fee? What’s that?! We merely ask for your commitment and motivation. We offer online training sessions in which our own Chimp product specialists walk you through how to program a show with the Chimp light controllers step-by-step. Each participant should have a Chimp with the latest update installed, connected to a PC on which our visualiser software is already installed, supplemented by a tablet or laptop on which you’re able to follow the online training. Make sure you prepare everything in advance, so your fellow students don’t have to wait for you. If you run into technical issues, please feel free to contact us for technical support at service@highlite.com.

Which training is right for me?

That depends on your knowledge of light controllers. If you are a seasoned programmer, then the Advanced training is the right choice. If you have recently purchased a Chimp unit, you might want to consider the Beginner’s training. Below we sum up an overview of the topics that our specialists will cover during the Beginner’s training:

• Multicell functionality

• More advanced Fixture Editor

• Lots of new short keys

• Fixture Cloning and Changing Fixture Type with the new Fixture Editor

• The use of Individual timings

• The use of the Magic sheet

• How to edit Cues

• How to set up tracking backup

• Tips & Tricks

If these topics do not ring a bell, you might be better off starting with the Beginner’s training.

Are these training sessions for everyone?

Actually, they are. However, you do need a Chimp light controller to participate in the online training.

What do I gain from this training?

After the Beginner’s training you will be able to work with the Chimp controller independently, create your own show within minutes and add effects to groups of fixtures. In the Advanced Training we will dive deeper into the material, so you will be able to create a much more comprehensive show.

What do I need for this?

What you need for this is clearness. The Beginner’s training is really intended for beginners. It covers the fundamentals of programming and handling a light controller. In the Advanced training we assume that you have a basic understanding of the common processes of working with a light controller. Do yourself and your fellow students a favour; check which training session is most appropriate for you and choose the right level.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our training sessions!
