About 'Waye of Life':
Meet Paul Waye, also known as 'Waye of Life' across social media.
Paul is a passionate plogger—he picks up trash while running—and has been doing so since 2011. On his daily runs around Haarlem, he collects an impressive 40,000L of trash every year. You might have spotted him during the Rotterdam Marathon, sporting a unique "blikjesjurk" (a dress and flag made of 600 cans he's picked up from the streets).
After losing his IT job last year, Paul took a bold step forward, deciding to become the world’s first Professional Plogger. This leap of faith has opened doors for him to go even bigger. Currently, Paul is in the midst of a 1300km plog around the Netherlands, with plans to run 31 marathons throughout May—all while wearing a banana suit and picking up trash.
Next stop: Eindhoven. But before that, Paul will be running from Den Bosch, and after the event, he'll continue his journey with a two-leg run to Maastricht.
